Audioscope 11 Line-Up Announced

This just in from Audioscope….eeek…

Hello again!

After months of planning, we’re really pleased to be able to bring you one of the most diverse and exciting Audioscope lineups yet, and one of which we’re very proud.

Audioscope11 will be headlined by West Virginian desert rock legends Karma To Burn, bringing the festival to a close with an hour of uncompromising stoner rock instrumentals.

Other highlights include: Brighton’s krautrock-influenced dance-pop outfit and BBC 6music favourites Fujiya & Miyagi; the blissful drones of ATP Recordings/Thrill Jockey star Alexander Tucker, one of the most exciting and innovative solo artists around; Cardiff-based art-rockers The Victorian English Gentlemen’s Club; doom electronica specialists Necro Deathmort, one of the highlights of last year’s Supersonic Festival; and Bletchley’s Glenn Branca-inspired noise band Action Beat, who can feature up to six guitarists and two drummers.

The festival also boasts some of Oxford’s best talent in the form of Spring Offensive, The Cellar Family and Listing Ships.

The full lineup is:

The show takes place on Saturday 12 November at The Jericho in Oxford. Tickets are just £12 in advance and you’ll be able to buy them from tomorrow from http://www.wegottickets.com/audioscope  As ever, all proceeds go directly to the housing and homelessness charity Shelter, for whom we’ve now raised more than £22,000 since 2001.

So mark the date in your diary, get yourself a ticket in advance and enjoy checking out the bands in advance!
